About Safety
Safety is one of the biggest concerns for anyone’s business and with our offering you will be on your way to keeping a safe environment for you and your employees! Many of our safety products protect from impact of otherwise fatal force. HDPE Hardhats and polycarbonate impact safe eye wear is of utmost importance when working in a construction environment, and we have them available to you. To protect your hands we offer latex dipped cotton gloves that increase grip, as well as resistance to wet and abrasive surfaces.
Protection from virus’ and pathogens is of concern in many environments and to solve this issue we offer personal protective equipment and air filtration material. Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to protective clothing, helmets, gloves, face shields, goggles, facemasks and/or respirators or other equipment designed to protect the wearer from injury or the spread of infection or illness. PPE material is mandatory in many workplace environments currently due to Covid-19 and is material we keep ample stock on. For air filtration our Casper line offers technology that works to continuously disinfect the environment it is placed in through air filtration.
FAQs
In general, most PPE cleared by the FDA is intended to be used only one time and by one person. Sharing PPE is not advised. The protective capabilities of single use PPE cannot be assured when it is reused by the same person or used by more than one person. Sharing PPE that is intended for single use may expose another person to infectious materials. PPE should be removed promptly after use and disposed of properly.
PPE is designed to be used with other infection control practices such as hand-washing, using alcohol-based hand sanitizers and covering coughs and sneezes to minimize the spread of infection from one person to another.
KN95 refers to the regulatory standard for filtering face piece respirators certified in China. The standard requires a design to form a seal with the face and use against most non-oily particulates with a filtration efficiency of 94-95%. The requirement for a KN95 certification is almost identical to the United States’ NIOSH N95 certification procedure. Authentic KN95 respirators provide equivalent protection of an N95 respirator.
CASPR stands for Continuous Air and Surface Pathogen Reduction.
The CASPR Group Continuous Disinfection Technology is a Photocatalytic Conversion Device that is designed to convert H2O and O2 in the air into safe but effective levels of Hydroxyl Radicals (OH-), Oxygen ions (O2-) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). The device utilizes a multi-wavelength ultraviolet light to illuminate a target surface. The target surface is a honeycomb matrix treated with a proprietary photocatalytic coating. When inserted into the ducts of the HVAC system, the device reacts with H2O molecules found in the humidity to continuously create predominately H2O2 molecules, which exit the duct and disperse throughout the targeted area, coating all surfaces with highly effective oxidizing molecules that work to reduce the bioburdens of clinically relevant pathogens 24/7.
The CASPR material begins to disinfect immediately. It is designed to work safely and effectively in occupied spaces, which are subject to ongoing insults to their environmental surfaces. CASPR material will decrease bioburden levels continuously and increasingly over time. In lab testing bioburdens of MRSA on surfaces have been reduced by more than 90% in 6 hours and over 99.9% in 24 hours.
